USF Track and Field Finishes Strong at UNF East Coast Relays

The Bulls recorded multiple podium finishes and personal-best marks in their final meet before the American Conference Outdoor Championships

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., (May 2, 2026) – The University of South Florida track and field program closed out the UNF East Coast Relays with multiple podium finishes, personal records and strong performances across field events and middle distance competition at Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium. 

In the final meet before the American Conference Outdoor Championships, the Bulls continued to build momentum with several top-five finishes and personal-best marks throughout the weekend. 

 
HIGHLIGHTS: 

Pole Vault: 
Nikodem Pochopien delivered a personal-best performance to claim the men's pole vault title with a clearance of 5.35m. 

On the women's side, Ella Dolce placed fifth in the pole vault after clearing 3.95m. 


Throws: 
Kaden Banks recorded a pair of third-place finishes in the men's throws, placing third in the shot put with a mark of 16.76m and third in the discus throw with 53.25m. 

Annalee Harbison added a personal-best mark in the women's hammer throw, recording 57.30m to place sixth. 


Jumps: 
Zayin Roe placed fourth in the women's triple jump with a mark of 12.60m. 

Tristen Evatt recorded a fifth-place finish with a mark of 5.87m in the women's long jump. 


Middle Distance: 
Nicolas Dovalovsky placed sixth in the men's 800m, crossing in 1:50.70. 

Sydni Studesville added a personal-best performance, finishing eighth with a time of 2:10.07 in the women's 800m. 


Up Next: 

South Florida travels to Denton, Texas, for the American Conference Outdoor Championships, scheduled for May 14–16.
