Nicole McClure of the University of South Florida women's soccer team has been named this week's BIG EAST Goalkeeper Player of the Week. McClure earned the award for her 11 save performance in the 200 minutes she played this weekend.
McClure saved a total of 5 goals during Thursday's game against Pittsburgh. Playing total of a 90 minuets, McClure made 2 saves in the first half and 3 saves in the second half.
On Saturday, during the game at West Virginia, McClure picked up her third shutout of the season. She saved two shots in the first half, three in the second and one in the first overtime.
On the season, McClure has a goals against average of 0.68 and has made 26 saves on the season good for a .788 save percentage.
