TAMPA, Fla. (March 25, 2006) ? The USF women's tennis team (12-3) defeated the Dartmouth Big Green (4-8), 7-0, Sat. afternoon at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts.
This was USF's second-straight shutout in as many matches.
After sweeping the ever so important doubles point, the Bulls didn't miss a beat in singles competition, taking care of each of their opponents in straight sets. Sophomore Liz Cruz didn't lose a point on the afternoon, taking care of Jamie Caplan, 6-0, 6-0.
The Bulls have a week off before they go into the regular season home stretch that includes playing at No. 75 South Alabama on April 1st and home matches against No. 21 VCU (April 14) and No. 55 FIU (April 16).
