USF Women Travel To Garden State To Face Rutgers On CSTV

The University of South Florida women's basketball team will hit the road for the only time during its current four-game stretch - in what is already a key early-season BIG EAST match up - to face Rutgers in New Brunswick, NJ on Tuesday night ... The game can be seen live on College Sports Television (CSTV) (Dish Network channel 152 and DirecTV channel 610) with Jonathan Coachman (play-by-play) and Debbie Antonelli (color analyst) ... The contest can also be heard live on 860 AM WGUL - and on GoUSFBulls.com (with Press Pass subscription) - with Tom Krasniqi (play-by-play) ... Following Tuesday's game against the Scarlet Knights, the Bulls will return home to face Notre Dame (Jan. 13) and Louisville (Jan. 16) ... USF started its current four-game stretch on Saturday with a 67-49 win over Cincinnati at the Sun Dome ... The Bulls' are off to their second best start in the program's 35-year history at 12-3 ... USF has won three of its last four games and five of its last seven ... Only the 1976-77 team had a better record through 15-games at 13-2 ... The Bulls have a modest four-game regular season BIG EAST Conference winning streak dating back to last year ...  ... USF placed three players in double figures in its win over the Bearcats on Saturday with Shantia Grace leading the way with a game-high 19 points and seven assists in 37 minutes ... All-America and National Player of the Year candidate Jessica Dickson added 16 points and ChiChi Okpaleke recorded her first double-double of the season with a 10-point and career-high 14-rebound effort ... Nalini Miller also swatted six of the Bulls' season-high 11 shots on the night to go along with six points, six rebounds and three steals ... Dickson continues to lead the team - and is second in the BIG EAST - in scoring netting 21 points per game behind Louisville's Angel McCoughtry who is netting 21.8 points per contest ... Grace is second on the team and is sixth in the conference averaging 17.9 points per game ... The duo is the most potent offensive tandem in the BIG EAST combining for 38.9 points per outing ... They are the only two players from the same school to be ranked in the top 10 in scoring in the BIG EAST so far this year.
