Boca Raton, Fla. ? The No. 29 University of South Florida women's tennis team concluded its short two-match road trip Sunday afternoon by defeating the FAU Owls, 6-0.

The Bulls (2-0), only lost one set throughout the entire match as sophomore Jessica Zok dropped her first set, 7-6, against Natalia Totevska at the No. 2 spot, but then came back to win the remaining sets 6-2 and 10-4 in the tiebreaker.

In a change from the normal singles lineup, sophomore Allyn Mueller drew the No. 1 position and easily out-dueled FAU's Elodie Wendling, 6-4, 6-3.

Junior Iciri Rai and sophomore Jessica Sweeting downed their opponents in impressive fashion, 6-0, and 6-0, each not allowing their opponents to take a set.

“I felt they came out and competed well,” said head coach Agustin Moreno. “It's always great when you can start the season on a winning streak.”

The Bulls will continue play on Jan. 19 when they travel to Jacksonville, Fla. to take on the University of North Florida Ospreys. First serve is set for 9 a.m.
