? David Fox of Rivals.com breaks down the 2008 season in the BIG EAST and releases his All-BIG EAST Team for 2008.

? With the debut of Mike Mercer and Augustus Gilchrist approaching, Greg Auman reports that Bulls head coach Stan Heath is 'leaning toward' starting both transfers. He writes,"Mercer, a 6-foot-4 junior guard from Georgia who joins a deep, experienced Bulls backcourt, would likely displace junior Chris Howard in the starting five, while Gilchrist, a versatile 6-foot-10 freshman forward who spent a semester at Maryland, becomes a new scoring option in the post, where USF hasn't had consistent scoring in its 3-3 start. Heath reiterated that he isn't worried about who starts, but who establishes themselves as reliable players worthy of extensive playing time."

He writes,"Noriega entered this season with roughly 1,300 career points and is confident he can finish with 2,000.He has been starting since midway through his freshman season. ? Alan Dell of the Sarasota Herald Tribune features Bulls guard Shantia Grace as she works on the defensive side of her game so she can fulfill her dream of playing at the next level. Here are first couple paragraphs; "Putting the ball in the basket has never been a problem for Shantia Grace, whether it's burying shots from beyond the three-point arc or maneuvering through traffic for a layup.

Ever since her days playing in the Sarasota youth leagues and then becoming the career scoring leader at Riverview High, Grace has made a name for herself by scoring points.

Now in her senior season with the University of South Florida, the 5-foot-6 guard hopes to earn a paycheck next year either in the WNBA or overseas. But for that to happen, she knows she needs to improve her defense."
