Kentucky -? The University of South Florida women's tennis team were happy to leave the state of Kentucky over the weekend after dropping matches to the University of Louisville, 4-3 and the University of Kentucky, 6-1.

With the two losses, the Bulls, ranked No. 30 according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, fall to 7-5 on the season.

Freshman Janette Bejlkova cracked the ITA rankings over the weekend for the first time in her career. The 88th-ranked singles player won both of her matches over the weekend. She defeated Lauren Imre of Louisville , 4-6, 7-5, 5-2 ret. and No. 79 Sarah Woestmann of Kentucky, 6-3, 6-1. Both wins came at the top spot in the order.

The two weekend victories bring her current match win-streak to five.

Jessica Zok and Iciri Rai each went 1-1 during the weekend trip to the Blue Grass state, both wins coming against Louisville opponents. Zok defeated Lindsey Jones, 6-4, 6-3 at the No. 2 spot and Rai defeated Robyn White, 7-5, 6-3 and the No. 5 singles position.

The Bulls will play their 13th consecutive road match on Wednesday, Feb. 27, when they travel down I-4 to take on the UCF Knights at 2 p.m. USF will play their first home match of the season four days later when they welcome the No. 24 Clemson Tigers to the USF Varsity Tennis Courts. The first serve is set for 11 a.m.
