TAMPA - The University of South Florida women's basketball team overcame a 13-point first half deficit to win its sixth straight game, defeating Jacksonville 76-64 Sunday afternoon at the Sun Dome.

The Bulls (7-2) jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead just 1:20 into the game when Wynne scored four of the games first six points.

Jacksonville would continue its offensive flurry using a 22-8 run to push its lead to the largest of the game, 39-26, on a layup by Crystal Grable with 2:48 left in the first stanza.

After the break, the Dolphins would get their lead back to six points, 49-43 on two Grable free throws with 16:44 left in the contest.

Both teams would go back-and-forth with neither leading by more than five points.

The Bulls would take the lead - and not relinquish it - when Janae Stokes hit her first and only three-pointer of the game with 4:54 left to make the score 64-62.

USF would close out the game, after Stokes' trey, on a 12-2 run leading to its biggest margin of the contest, 12 points, at the buzzer.
