The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. Photo Name: Anthony Henry One of the first great USF football players, Anthony Henry was on the inaugural team in 1997 and played through the 2000 season before going on to a career in the NFL, including last season with the Detroit Lions. Henry ranks third in interceptions at USF with 10, but more importantly has given back to the university and the program through a $100k donation to improve the locker and weight rooms.
