The Bulls did the job in doubles but failed to secure their first victory over the spring Saturday.
Juan Carlos Acuna Gerard was the lone USF singles player to post a win as the Bulls suffered a 5-2 loss to No. 39 Miami in Coral Gables, Fla. USF's spring has included tough losses to No. 2 Virginia and No. 16 Auburn.
Acuna Gerard pulled out a three-set thriller over Henrique Tsukamoto, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, following a solid doubles showing from the Bulls.
Oliver Pramming and Yannick Yoshizawa teamed up to defeat Gabriel Flores and Diego Soto, 8-6. Wael Kilani and Lucas Marin-Salcedo made quick work of Omar Aly and Santiago Nietok, 8-4, to secure the doubles point for USF.
The Bulls look to bounce back at home next Friday when they host North Florida at the USF Varsity Courts at 2 p.m.
