TAMPA - The USF men's soccer team dropped their second game of the season with a 2-0 loss to Memphis on Saturday night.

The Bulls (3-2-4, 0-1-1) gave up two first-half goals about five minutes apart and we're unable to mount a comeback despite outshooting the Tigers 14-1 in the second half.

Shane Keely scored his fourth goal of the season in the 32nd minute on a great shot that ricocheted off the bottom of the crossbar and into the net.

The Tigers added to their lead four minutes later when Liam Collins tallied his first goal of the season on a free kick just outside the box.

With the two-goal lead Memphis was able to play more defensively in the second half and hold off the Bulls' attack. Goalkeeper Cody Uzcategui made six saves on the night.

Freshman midfielder Lindo Mfeka continued his solid play, leading the Bulls offensively with five shots, four of them on goal.

USF returns to action Wednesday night and will look to notch their first American Athletic Conference win at 7:30 p.m. when they take on Cincinnati at Corbett Stadium.
