TAMPA – USF's head coach Lelo Prado got his 200th win of his career with the 8-4 victory over Cincinnati in the second game of the doubleheader at USF Baseball Stadium on Saturday.

“They came out with great passion and it showed today,” said Prado. “That's the reason we won the first two games.”

The Bulls kept the hits rolling in the second game of the doubleheader batting around the order in the third inning.  The Bulls scored eight runs on six hits.

Starting pitcher Nick Gonzalez helped USF (12-11) improve to over .500 for the first time this season.  The junior gave up two runs on eight hits in seven innings of work.

Chris Norton continued his hot hitting in the second game batting 2-for-4 with one run and three RBI's.  He continues to lead the team batting .395 for the season.

Right-hander Joey Lovecchio will get the start for the Bulls as they try to sweep Cincinnati in the series finale 10 a.m. Sunday at USF Baseball Stadium.

“We have to come out tomorrow ready to go,” said Prado.,” said Prado.
