TAMPA – Kourtney Salvarola hit her Big East-leading 12^th home run while the top of the USF lineup was a hit machine in a 7-1 win at Pitt on Saturday.

USF's first through fourth batters combined to produce eight of the team's 11 total hits. Leadoff batter D'Anna Devine went 2-for-4 and scored two runs. Salvarola went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Stephanie Medina went 2-for-4 with a homer, two RBIs and two runs scored. Cleanup hitter Kenshyra Jackson went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in USF's eighth straight victory.

Right-hander Lindsey Richardson (10-3) struck out nine in 4 1/3 innings while giving up an unearned run on one hit. Erica Nunn struck out two in 1 1/3 scoreless innings before Sam Greiner and Sara Nevins secured USF's 25^th win in its past 26 games.

Lee Ann Spivey, Morgan Litchfield and Monica Santos each added hits to help the Bulls finish the doubleheader with 20 hits. Santos hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning of USF's 10-0 win in game 1 that was highlighted by Nevins' fourth-career no-hitter.

USF (31-11, 9-1) goes for the series sweep Sunday at noon when the teams meet back up at Petersen Sports Complex.
