TAMPA, JAN. 24, 2015 – The USF men's tennis team dropped their championship match of the ITA Kick-Off to No. 26 Penn State at the Hilary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Complex in Lexington, Kentucky.
The Bulls quickly found themselves in a 1-0 deficit after the doubles pairings of Ignacio Gonzalez-Muniz and Vadym Kalyuzhnyy fell 6-3 on court two while Oliver Pramming and Justin Roberts fell 6-4 on court three.
Gonzalez-Muniz put USF on the board with a 6-2, 7-5 win over Alex Fennell. That was the only point the Bulls would put on the board as Roberto Cid, Sasha Gozun, and Pramming each lost their matches, securing the win for Penn State.
Next up for the Bulls is a road match in San Diego, California on Thurs., January 29 in a dual match against the University of San Diego. You can follow all the Bulls road matches right here and by following @USFBullsMTennis on Twitter.
