Kornegay Hires New Assistant Coach Taylor Babcock

TAMPA, AUGUST 18, 2015 - Head women's golf coach Marci Kornegay announced the hiring of a new assistant coach Tuesday, bringing Barry University graduate Taylor Babcock on board with her staff for the 2015-16 season.

"I'm excited to welcome Taylor to my staff," Kornegay said. "She has terrific experience both as a player and a coach, and she will bring energy and enthusiasm to our program along with her valuable skillset."

Babcock joins the Bulls after a successful stint as the assistant coach at Yale, where she helped coach the Bulldogs to five team wins in a year and a half, along with producing three All-Conference golfers and six 2014 WGCA All-American Scholars.

Babcock was a four-time All-American and Academic All-American at Barry University, and played on the 2013 NCAA Asia Golf Tour.
