TAMPA, SEPT. 21, 2015 – Spasoje Stefanovic was named American Goalkeeper of the Week and Nazeem Bartman made the conference's weekly honor roll after helping USF stay perfect at home.

Stefanovic, a junior from Serbia, racked up 14 combined saves on the way to earning his first American Goalkeeper of the Week honor of the season. The conference's preseason keeper of the year posted a career-high nine saves in a 2-0 win over North Florida on Sept. 14.
Bartman earned a spot on The American's weekly honor roll for the second consecutive week. The junior from Cape Town, South Africa had an assist in both of USF's victories and provided the game-winning goal on penalty kick in the 83rd minute of USF's 2-1 win over FGCU on Sept. 19.

The men's soccer program has been one of the most successful on campus over the years, advancing to seven NCAA tournaments in the last eight seasons. The Bulls return 13 letterwinners and five starters from 2014 on top of bringing in the third-ranked signing class according to College Soccer News. They won the inaugural American Athletic Conference Championship in 2013 and head coach George Kieferhas also led the Bulls to two Elite Eight appearances and four conference/division titles in his 13 seasons as the head man.
