Golden Grace Gives USF Overtime Victory

PHILADELPHIA (Oct. 13, 2016)— Golden Grace Adams.

In the 103rd minute of play, Adams netted her first goal of the season, propelling USF to a 1-0 victory over the Temple Owls. Adams was wide open, taking a shot into the left side of the net from 22 yards out to give USF the win, improving to 10-1-1, 2-1-1 on the season.

After a scoreless 90 minutes of play, the Bulls went to overtime for the second straight match. USF dominated the first ten minutes of extra play, notching six shots. 

Unlike their last overtime match, the Bulls wouldn't find themselves in a tie as Adams broke the scoreless draw just three minutes in to the second overtime period. 

Leticia Skeete, Evelyne Viens and Trudi Carter led the way with 15 of USF's 21 shots. Kat Elliott had three saves in goal, thanks to a defense that allowed just six shots.

Temple's Jordan Nash had six saves on the night before allowing the game winner.
