Box Score STORRS, Conn. (Nov. 4, 2016)— The USF women's soccer team fell in the semifinals of the conference tournament to host and No. 1 seed UConn, 2-0, to end the Bulls chance at a conference title.
UConn struck first in the 38th minute on a goal from Rachel Hill. Hill sent a shot from 16 yards out across the box and into the upper 90 of the goal, just out of the leaping reach of USF keeper Kat Elliott.
In the 50th minute, Stephanie Ribeiro would put the Huskies up 2-0 with her nation-leading 20th goal of the season. Ribeiro took a shot from 18 yards out, sliding the ball into the lower left corner of the goal.
Elliott would finish with seven saves on the night, just one shy of her career high which she set in 2015 against UConn. Evelyne Viens and Leticia Skeete led all USF players with three shots each on the night.

The Bulls also return 10 players who appeared in at least 15 or more games last season.
