TAMPA (October 31, 2022) – The University of South Florida women's tennis team continued its demanding fall schedule this past weekend at the FIU Invitational in Miami, Oct. 28-30.

The Bulls faced the host Panthers, Florida Atlantic and Missouri of the Southeastern Conference during the three-day event.

Senior
Margriet Timmermans and freshman Ireland Simme led the way for the Bulls with impressive victories during the final day of competition.

Timmermans knocked off Missouri's Romary Cardenas in three sets 6-2, 5-7, 6-0.

Simme, who has been impressive in the fall during her first go around in collegiate tennis, came from a set down to defeat Kristina Miletic of FIU, 4-6, 7-6(7), 6-3.

The Bulls will close out the fall season at the UNF Invitational at the UNF Tennis Complex in Jacksonville, Fla. from Friday, Nov. 11-Sunday, Nov. 13.
