Tampa, Fla. Nov. 18, 2023 – The University of South Florida women's basketball (3-1) returns to Tampa Bay for a pairing with North Florida on Sunday, Nov. 19. The action will get underway at 2:00 p.m. and the matchup will stream live on ESPN+.

The Bulls look to collect their fourth victory of the season, as the squad currently holds a 3-1 November record.

North Florida enters the contest with a single triumph so far this season. The Osprey's overall record sits at 1-3.

THE SOUTH FLORIDA-NORTH FLORIDA SERIES
Sunday marks the ninth-ever meeting between South Florida and North Florida. The Bulls have won all eight previous meetings and are looking to become victors of nine straight. The first-ever meeting was an 87-49 (Dec. 28, 2005) win and the most recent pairing was a 78- 42 (Nov. 15, 2016) victory.

South Florida dropped its first matchup of the season at Alabama, 70-41 on Thursday night. Freshman guard
Vittoria Blasigh led the Bulls with 18 points in 39 minutes, which marked her 3rd double-digit performance of the season. Sophomore wing
Carla Brito followed with eight points and matched a career-best 11 boards. Senior forward
Evelien Lutje Schipholt finished the night with six boards and has grabbed six or more rebounds in four straight contests.

USF has two players averaging double-digit points through the first four contests, led by Blasigh (15.0 ppg.). Brito (11.5 ppg.) leads on the glass with 8.3 boards per contest. Sophomore forward
Emma Johansson is ranked 21st in the nation and first in the American in total blocks (8). Blasigh (13 3PTM) is ranked T8th nationally and first in American in total 3-pointers made.

Sammie Puisis is one of 20 players named to the 2024 Ann Meyers-Drysdale Award watch list, which is annually presented to the top shooting guard in Division I women's college basketball. Bulls fans are encouraged to participate in Fan Voting for each of the three rounds. The list will be narrowed to 10, and then in late February to just five. In March, the five finalists will be presented to Myers-Drysdale and the Hall of Fame's selection committee, where a winner will be selected. Fans can vote for Puisis at
