Amy Thompson and Yana Karamfilova will join the Bulls in the fall of 2024.

Amy Thompson comes to Tampa Bay from Stillwater, Minn. The guard attended Stillwater Area High School and played for the Minnesota Fury Club team. While playing for the Ponies, Thompson has earned a handful of accolades, including All-Conference honors (sophomore and junior years) and an All-State honorable mention at the conclusion of the 2022-23 campaign.

During the 2022-23 season at Stillwater, Thompson averaged 15.9 points per game and had a season-high 29-point performance in a 67-65 win against Lakeville North (Mar. 15, 2023). The guard finished 24 games with double-digit points and 11 of those games were 20-plus point performances.

Coach Fernandez on Thompson: "I like what Amy brings she can play multiple positions at the guard spot and fits our system. She can shoot the ball well and can create off of the bounce."

Yana Karamfilova joins the Bulls from Sofia, Bulgaria. The forward attended Todor Kableshkov High School while playing for BC Beroe Stara Zagora Club. She has represented Bulgaria at the 2023 FIBA U18 Women's European Championship Division B, the 2021 FIBA U16 Women's European Challengers, and 2021 FIBA U20 Women's European Challengers.

The 6'2 forward is currently playing for BC Beroe Stara Zagora and has collared four 18-plus point games through October. Karamfilova averaged 9.0 ppg., 4.9 rpg., 1.1 spg., and 1.3 bpg. in the 2023 FIBA U18 Women's European Championship. She had a pair of three-block games against Ireland and Ukraine in the group phase. She also added a summer-high 12 points against Sweden. In the 2021 FIBA U16 Women's European Challengers, Karamfilova logged a 16.4 scoring average, 6.6 rebounds per contest, dished out 2.8 assists per game, and swatted 2.0 blocks per matchup. She had a summer-best 23-point showing against Latvia, and a double-double (13 points, 11 rebounds) against Greece.

In 2022-23, the Bulls had four players recognized by The American for impressive seasons, including Elena Tsineke (AAC Co-Player of the Year, All-Conference First Team), Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu (AAC Co-Player of the Year, All-Conference First Team), Sammie Puisis (AAC Newcomer of the Year, All-Conference Second Team) and Carla Brito (AAC All-Freshman Team).
