TAMPA (May 17, 2023) – The University of South Florida Bulls conclude the 2023 regular season with a three-game series against the No. 15-ranked ECU Pirates. After the conclusion of the series, South Florida will have played 10 games this season against Top 25 opponents.
ECU swept a three-game series from the Bulls in Greenville last season, and the teams split a four-game set in Tampa in 2021.
Bobby Boser has reached base safely in 15 consecutive games and is riding a career-best 11-game hitting streak entering the weekend. Boser's 15 career highs are also a career high and the most by a Bull since Joe Genord (16) in 2018. His 15 home runs are tied for ninth all-time in program single-season history.
Boser leads the AAC during league play in slugging (.790) and homers (9), while ranking third in OBP (.469) and RBI (24).
Drew Brutcher has 31 career home runs which rank seventh all-time in program history.
Collectively, the Bulls have launched 65 homers this season, their most since 1997 (71).
True freshman Eric Snow has blasted all seven of his home runs in Tampa this season. Snow leads USF with a .352 batting average and is hitting .389 over 26 games since April 1st.
