USF Women’s Basketball’s Raina Tomasicka Named the American Conference Player of the Week

Raina Tomasicka claims USF’s third American Conference POTW Honor

IRVING, Texas (December 1, 2025) – The American Conference announced its weekly honors for women's basketball on Monday. Raina Tomasicka was named the American Conference Player of the Week, earning the University of South Florida women's basketball team its third weekly award of the season.
 
Tomasicka recorded an excellent week. She averaged 17.5 points per game, 3.0 rebounds per game, and dished out five assists. In her first game of the week against Harvard, she scored a career-high 14 points and made a career-high two 3-pointers. She added three rebounds and one steal. Against New Orleans, she set a new career high with 21 points. She shot 8-for-13 from the field, including a new personal best with three 3-pointers. She also recorded a career-high four assists.
