The Bulls are on a six game winning streak, which matches their previous win streak from earlier this season. USF has won 12 of its last 14 games. Against Rice, USF played and won its first-ever three overtime game in the Coach Fernandez Era; the first 3OT was a 102-96 win against Alabama St. (Jan. 22, 1984).

Sammie Puisis has made at least one three in 57 straight regular-season games, the longest active streak in Division I.
