TAMPA (March 18)- No. 25 University of South Florida Men's Tennis team (14-3) play in their first AAC matches of the season at home this week. The Bulls will host No. 51 Tulsa (9-11) on Wednesday and Tulane (5-9) on Friday.
South Florida starts their conference play on Wednesday, March 19 at 1:30 against the Golden Hurricanes. The match will be streamed on ESPN+. The last match-up between the two was at the American Athletic Conference tournament last year, hosted in Tulsa, Oklahoma. South Florida lost 2-4 to the Golden Hurricanes. The Bulls are 10-6 against Tulsa in match-up history.
The Bulls will continue conference play on Friday, March 21 at noon with a match against the Green Wave. South Florida won in the last match-up between the two, with a score of 4-3. The Bulls are 9-4 against Tulane in match-up history.
Hugo Car jumped up to No 48 Singles in the latest rankings. Car, reigning 2024 JUCO Singles National Champion, is 12-1 on the season. Car play consistently on singles Court 1 for the Bulls. After losing his first Division 1 match, Car has remained undefeated. Including wins against the No. 11 Singles player, and multiple ranked teams.

Head coach Ashley Fisher is in his ninth year at the helm of the program for the 2024-25 season. Fischer has guided the Bulls to four NCAA Tournaments, including three trips to the second round. He was named the American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2017 & 2019 after leading USF to the conference title in each of those seasons.
