South Florida Women’s Golf Releases the 2025-26 Schedule

TAMPA, Fla. –July 23, 2025 – South Florida women's golf head coach AJ Newell has announced the 2025-26 schedule ahead of the upcoming season.
 
The Bulls will open the fall at the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Sept. 7-8.
 
Later that month, USF will travel internationally to compete in the Canada Collegiate Invitational in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from Sept. 22-23.
 
South Florida will conclude September at the Pat Bradley Invitational, hosted by FIU at Trump Doral in Miami, Fla, on Sept. 29-30.
 
The Bulls will close out the fall by hosting the White Sands Bahamas Invitational in Nassau from Oct. 24-26.
 
USF begins the spring season at the UCF PDI Intercollegiate in Orlando, Fla., on Jan. 25-27. The Bulls will then compete at the UNF Collegiate in Jacksonville, Fla., from Feb. 23-24.
 
March features two tournaments, starting with the Gators Invitational in Gainesville, Fla., on March 6-8, followed by the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Invitational in Wigwam, Ariz., on March 23-24.
 
The regular season concludes at the Boilermaker Spring Classic in West Lafayette, Ind., on April 12-13.
 
Postseason play begins with the American Conference Championship in Brooksville, Fla., at Southern Hills Plantation Club from Apr. 20-22, hosted by South Florida.
 
The NCAA Regional will take place from May 11-13 at a site to be announced, and the NCAA Championships will be held May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
 
ABOUT SOUTH FLORIDA WOMEN'S GOLF
Tampa native AJ Newell, a former LPGA Tour Player and NCAA All-American, enters her second season as head coach of USF women's golf. In her first season, she coached Leonor Medeiros to the American All-Conference Team. Newell coached the Bulls to four top 10 finishes in 2024-25.
 
Newell took over leadership of the Bulls' program following a successful three-year stint as assistant coach at the University of Michigan, where she helped guide the Wolverines to three straight NCAA Regional appearances, a 2022 Big Ten title, and a trip to the 2022 NCAA Championship Finals.
