TAMPA, Fla., July 9, 2025 – Head Coach
Ken Eriksen and the University of South Florida softball team announced the addition of Kiley Strott to the 2025 recruiting class. Strott will join USF after spending the last two seasons at UCF.
"Kiley Strott has strengthened our pitching/catching game," said Coach Eriksen. "Her arm possesses the ability to stop the running game in its tracks, and her maturity behind the plate adds a great dimension to our incoming young catching corps. This is an excellent opportunity for Kiley to take advantage of. I know our pitching staff looks forward to having that experience to work with."
Strott will add depth at the catcher position for the Bulls. In her two seasons with the Knights, she totaled 105 putouts and 14 assists in 42 games. Behind the plate, she has thrown out nine runners. Last season, she belted two home runs. Before college, she was a standout player at Lake Brantley High School.
She helped lead the Patriots to a state runner-up finish and earned a spot on the all-conference second team during her junior campaign. After the 2021 season, she was named a 2021 7A All-State Team selection, all-conference first team, and the Offensive Player of the Year. Off the field, Strott earned a spot on the Seminole Athletic Conference All-Academic Team for four years and was selected to the National Honor Society in 2022.
