TAMPA, Fla., September 11, 2025 – The University of South Florida men's soccer team (2-0-4), coming off a 1–1 draw at Mercer, returns home to Corbett Stadium to open American Conference play against UAB (1-2-1) on Friday, September 12, at 7:00 p.m. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Setting the Stage

The Opponent
The Blazers enter Friday's match (1-2-1) after a 1–1 draw against FGCU, who the Bulls took down earlier this season (3-2) in nonconference play. This is also UAB's first conference match of the season.
Note-A-Bulls:
- Balanced Attack – Eight different Bulls have recorded at least one point this year, led by Fabio Bozesan with three goals and three assists (nine points).
- Strong Start – The Bulls have scored in the first half in four of their six matches, setting the tone early and keeping opponents on the back foot.
Series History
USF leads the all-time series 13–5–1 against UAB, including a 4–2 win in Birmingham in the most recent meeting (Nov. 1, 2024). The Bulls have won the last two matchups and hold a +30 goal differential in the series.
