USF Men’s Soccer Returns Home for Conference Matchup Against Charlotte

The Bulls look to extend unbeaten conference run on Saturday night

TAMPA, Fla., September 26, 2025 – The University of South Florida men's soccer team (4-0-4, 2-0-0), coming off a 2-1 road victory at Tulsa, returns home to Corbett Stadium to face Charlotte (3-3-1, 1-0-0) on Saturday, September 27, at 7:00 p.m. ET. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
 
Setting the Stage
The Bulls extended their unbeaten run to eight matches with last week's conference win at Tulsa. Fabio Bozesan scored in the second minute to give the Bulls an early lead and Nicolas Pietrantonio added the game winning goal in the second half. Goalkeeper Jahiem Wickham delivered another solid performance at Tulsa, making three saves to help secure the conference win.
 
The Bulls remain undefeated through their first eight matches of the season and have opened conference play with back-to-back victories, building momentum heading into this conference matchup.
 
The Opponent
Charlotte enters Saturday's match looking to rebound after a 1-0 setback in its most recent match. Saturday marks the 49ers' second conference game as they travel to Corbett Stadium to face the undefeated Bulls.

USF Men's Soccer competed in the school's first-ever intercollegiate athletic contest on Sept. 25, 1965, beating Florida Southern 4-3.
