USF Women's Basketball Takes on Tulsa on Play 4 Kay Night in Yuengling Center

Bulls look for their sixth straight home win as they take on the team above them in the American Conference standings

TAMPA, FEB. 5, 2026 – South Florida women's basketball (14-10; 7-4 American) will look to extend its home winning streak to six games Wednesday night in the Yuengling Center when the Bulls take on Tulsa (16-7; 8-3 American) in a 7 p.m. tip on ESPN+ and Bulls Unlimited digital radio.

Tulsa is third in the American Conference standings while the Bulls are fourth entering Wednesday. It will be Play 4 Kay night in the Yuengling Center as the Bulls will honor cancer warriors, survivors, and thrivers in the fight against cancer.

Setting The Stage:
Six Bulls scored in double-figures as USF rolled past Tulane, 85-53, Saturday in the Yuengling Center. Carla Brito posted a double-double, pulling down a career-best 19 rebounds (including a USF game record tying 16 defensive boards) to go along with 13 points.

Edyn Battle leads the Bulls and ranks third in The American in scoring posting 15.1 ppg. Katie Davidson, who went over 1,500 career points on Saturday, is 12th in the league in scoring posting 12.5 ppg.

Tulsa saw a four-game win streak snapped when the Golden Hurricane fell at home to UTSA, 66-47, on Saturday. Tulsa has three players averaging double-figure scoring led by Mady Cartwright (15.9 ppg), who stands second in the league in scoring, and Hannah Riddick (15.0 ppg), who ranks fourth.
 
USF and Tulsa are among the top scoring teams in the league with the Bulls ranking second posting 72.3 ppg and the Golden Hurricane fourth logging 70.2 ppg.
 
Series History:
The Bulls lead the series with Tulsa 13-2, but the Golden Hurricane have won the last two meetings (both in Tulsa), including a 66-58 victory last February. The Bulls are 7-0 vs. Tulsa at home.
 
Note-A-Bulls:
Stefanie Ingram leads The American posting 5.8 assists per game and is second in assist to turnover ratio with a 1.8 mark. She is coming off a 14-point, nine-assist, three-steal game in Saturday's win over Tulane.
 
Carla Brito ranks fifth in The American in rebounding posting 8.7 rebounds per game, while L'or Mputu stands eighth grabbing 7.9 per game. USF and Temple are the only teams with two players that rank in the top 10 in rebounding in The American.
 
Additional Notes:
South Florida is 11-3 at home on the season and 5-1 in American Conference games. USF has a 152-34 record (81.7%) at the Yuengling Center since the 2013-14 season.
 
The Bulls six players reaching double-figure scoring in the win over Tulane marked the most players reaching double-figure scoring in a game for USF since the 2016 season.
 
South Florida has had at least five blocks in each of its last four games. That is their longest run since a four-game stretch in February 2022.
