Bulls Head to Bell Bank “Pay It Forward” Collegiate

TAMPA, Fla– March 22, 2026- The University of South Florida women's golf team is on the road to compete in the Bell Bank "Pay it Forward" Collegiate beginning this Monday, March 22.

Tiphani Knight, Cherry Marley, Emma Kim, Regina Plascencia, and Holly McLean will represent the Bulls. Alice Webb and Matylda Krawczynska will be competing individually.

South Florida will compete against Minnesota, St. Thomas, Western Michigan, Nebraska Omaha, Creighton, Florida Gulf Coast, Middle Tennessee State, Montana State Bozeman, Utah Tech, North Dakota State, Grand Canyon, North Dakota, and California Irvine.

The tournament will be played on The Wigwam Blue Course. It is a par 71 and is 6,373 yards. All rounds will begin with a shotgun start. Rounds one and two will tee off at 8:30 a.m. MST on Monday. The third and final round will begin at 8:00 a.m. MST on Tuesday.

Tampa native AJ Newell, a former LPGA Tour Player and NCAA All-American, enters her second season as head coach of USF women's golf. In her first season, she coached Leonor Medeiros to the American All-Conference Team. Newell coached the Bulls to four top-10 finishes in the 2024-25 season.

ook over leadership of the Bulls' program following a successful three-year stint as assistant coach at the University of Michigan, where she helped guide the Wolverines to three straight NCAA Regional appearances, a 2022 Big Ten title, and a trip to the 2022 NCAA Championship Finals.
