The below extra benefit comments are a reference for you current USF student-athletes:
Impermissible (extra) Benefits include, but are not limited to:

Seasons of Eligibility • Academic Eligibility Standards • Employment • Extra Benefits • Outside Competition • Sports Wagering • CARA • Complimentary Admissions
- Any special arrangements that are not generally available to the student body or the general public
- Applies to you AND your family and relatives
- Will render you immediately ineligible in ALL cases and require reinstatement
- Notify compliance if you have a custodial relationship with someone other than your parent or legal guardian
- Avoid accepting benefits from former teammates and other former student-athletes –they are considered boosters
- Ask if you need anything –we may have resources or legislation that will allow us to help you
Impermissible (extra) Benefits include, but are not limited to:
- Free or unadvertised discounts for services, purchases or rentals (e.g. legal services, car repair, food and drink –including booster tailgates, gym memberships, private workouts)
- Gifts of clothing, money, tickets to professional sporting events or any other tangible item
- Loan of money or co-signing on a loan
- Use of an automobile or rides/transportation
- Payment for work not actually performed
- Free or reduced rent or housing
- Sale or trade of complimentary tickets, awards, apparel, memorabilia or autographed items
- Free drinks or cover/admission to nightclubs or events
- Draft parties or parties including professional athletes
