CORAL GABLES, Fla. (February 26, 2006) ? The USF men's tennis team (1-3) dropped its match to intra-state rival Miami, 4-0, Sunday afternoon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center, in Coral Gables, Fla.
Miami, ranked No. 18 in the Fila/ITA Intercollegiate Rankings, proved to be too much for USF, sweeping all three doubles matches as well at three singles matches played. Due to the threat of rain and the risk of injury, each coach decided not finish the No. 1, 5 and 6 singles matches.
The Bulls will return to USF Varsity Tennis Courts on Monday, March 6, when they host the Florida State Seminoles. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
