Bulls Fall to Top-Ranked Gators In Non-Conference Action, 6-1

Gainesville, Fla. (February 5, 2006) ? The University of South Florida Bulls (0-1) dropped it's season opener against No. 1 Florida Gators (5-0), Sunday afternoon in Gainesville, Fla.

UF opened the afternoon by taking the doubles point. UF's Greg Ouellette and Janne Holmia defeated USF's Federico Barton and Dirk Britzen, 8-2, in 38 minutes at the top doubles position. 

USF's only point on the afternoon came when No. 29 Britzen defeated UF's Greg Ouellette in straight sets, 7-6 (4), 6-3.

The men's tennis team will return home on Fri. February 10, 2006 when they host South Alabama at 2 p.m. at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts.
