Bulls Kick Off Three-Match Road Stretch At FAU

The USF men's soccer team kicks off a three-match road stretch on Wednesday night  at 7 p.m. when it travels to Florida Atlantic University. This is the second three-match road series in the last eight games for the Bulls.

THE LOWDOWN
The USF men's soccer team kicks off a three-match road stretch on Wednesday night when it travels to Florida Atlantic University ... This is the second three-match road series in the last eight games ... The Bulls went 2-1 on the last trio of consecutive road games against No. 9 Ohio State (W, 2-1) on Sept. 16, Drexel (W, 1-0) and at No. 6 Connecticut (L, 4-0) on Sept. 24 ... Following the meeting with the Owls, USF will travel to Villanova on Oct. 9 and DePaul on Oct. 13 ... The match with the Wildcats will be played at PPL Park - home of the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer - and will be broadcast live in the internet at TopDrawerSoccer.com ... The Bulls come into Wednesday's match having won their last two contest's and six of their last seven matches ... In addition, USF head coach George Kiefer looks to get his 100th career victory on Wednesday ... Bernardo Anor leads the Bulls in scoring with 12 points (5g-2a) while Hasani Sinclair mover into second place with seven points (2g-3a) after a four-point effort (2g-0a) against Syracuse on Oct. 2 ... Shawn Chin is third in scoring with six points (3g-0a).

THE LAST TIME OUT
USF won its second straight match - and its first BIG EAST match of the year - with a dominating 4-0 victory over Syracuse at the USF Soccer Stadium ... The Bulls out shot the Orange 12-4 on the night and held a 7-2 shots on goal advantage.

Hasani Sinclair was one of three different Bulls to score on the night, netting two goals, after not recording a goal in the first eight games ... Sinclair scored the only goal of  first half  in the 19th minute off assists from Marius Krathe and Bernardo Anor ... Things would remain the same until Syracuse keeper Jeremy Vuolo was issued a red card and sent off for taking down Sinclair in the box in the 77nd minute of play ... Sinclair would then calmly step up and burry the ball into the back of the goal past back-up keeper Ryan Jones - who had just stepped onto the field - making the score 2-0 ... The Syracuse flood gates would then open as Santi Alexis would record his first career goal five minutes later in the 82nd minute, off a pass from Leston Paul, just two minutes before Mittoo logged his first goal of the season off an Alexis assist.

All-America goalkeeper Jeff Attinella registered three saves on the night en route to his 23rd career shutout and his sixth of the year.

SCOUTING FLORIDA ATLANTIC
Florida Atlantic comes into Wednesday's match with a 2-5-1 overall record and a 0-2-0 record in the Mid American Conference ... The Owls have dropped three straight after winning their only two games in back-to-back fashion against Wisconsin (2-1) on Sept. 12 and North Florida (2-1) on Sept. 22.

Darnell King is one of four players to score points for FAU this season and leads the Owls with five points (2g-1a) ... Lukas Simons is second with four points (2g-0a) while Benny Barshai and Andre McCreath is tied for third with two points apiece (1g-0a).

THE SERIES HISTORY VS. THE OWLS
Wednesday's match is the 16th meeting between USF and Florida Atlantic with the Bulls leading the all-time series 11-3-1 ... The Bulls have won the last two meetings and have not been defeated by the Owls since a 2-1 setback on Sept. 13, 1999 in Boca Raton.
