Rising University of South Florida senior basketball player Augustus Gilchrist is set to graduate this weekend.

He will graduate with a degree in interdisciplinary social sciences on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the St. Pete Times Forum.

Gilchrist plans to return to USF for the 2011-12 basketball season and pursue a second degree in criminology.

Gilchrist has averaged 12.3 points and 5.4 rebounds in three seasons with the men's basketball team. In his junior campaign, he posted 13.4 points and 6.0 rebounds in 30 games for the Bulls.
