LUBBOCK, Texas (Nov. 8, 2015)— The USF women's tennis team picked up four wins on day two of the Texas Tech Invitational.
Olga Martinez and Juliana Cardosa each picked up a win in singles against Texas Tech on Saturday. Martinez defeated Katelyn Jackson. 6-4, 7-5, while Cardosa took down Autumn Crossnoe 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.
Ana Roman Dominguez played all the way to a third set, but could not walk away with the win in her match with Felicity Maltby. Jessica Cortes Chaves and Vera Bessonova also dropped matches with foes from Texas Tech.
In doubles against Boise State, USF picked up another pair of wins. Jessica Cortes Chaves and Martinez picked up a 6-2 win and Cardosa and Ana Roman Dominguez won 6-3.
USF will conclude play at the Texas Tech Invitiational on Sunday.
