TAMPA, JULY 6, 2016 – USF's Diana Gonzalez has earned a spot on the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team for 2015-16.

The WGCA has recognized a total of 828 women's collegiate golfers for the prestigious honor. The criteria for selection included a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 for the entirety of a collegiate career. Student-athletes also had to compete in at least 50 percent of their programs' scheduled rounds throughout the season.
Gonzalez has a cumulative GPA of 3.62 through two school years as a pre-marketing major. The Bogota, Colombia native played 23 rounds as a sophomore and tied for 18th place at the Florida Challenge to start the spring season.
