  • The 2018 football schedule continued to take shape last week with kickoff times and TV designations for three games.
  • USF baseball's solid first season under head coach Billy Mohl ended at the NCAA DeLand Regional on Sunday.
  • USF track and field bolstered its roster in a big way for next season with a new nine-member signing class.
  • Women's golf head coach Erika Brennan was elected to the WGCA (Women's Golf Coaches Association) Board of Directors as the Communications Director for 2018-19.

TAMPA, JUNE 4, 2018 – Take a look ahead at the week in USF Athletics and catch up on last week's action:

No. 21 Football
Last Week: USF received kickoff times and television designations for three games on the Bulls' 2018 schedule: Saturday, Sept. 1 vs. Elon, 6 p.m. (ESPN3); Saturday, Sept. 15 vs. Illinois at Soldier Field, 3:30 p.m. EST (Big Ten Network); Friday, Oct. 12 at Tulsa, 7 p.m. EST (ESPN). Learn more HERE… Head coach Charlie Strong and the USF football program will host five camps on the USF campus during June, starting this Saturday and Sunday with the annual Sling & Shoot (7-on-7) Camp and the Big Man (OL/DL) Camp at the Morsani Football Practice Complex. Need to Know: New season ticket packages for the 2018 football season are on sale now. Make your purchases by calling 1-800-Go-Bulls, visiting USFBullsTix.com or at the USF Ticket Office (Lee Roy Selmon Athletic Center) Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

No. 24 Baseball (36-22-1)
Last Week: USF's impressive first season under head coach Billy Mohl came to an end with a 6-1 loss to Oklahoma State at the NCAA DeLand Regional on June 3… USF survived an elimination game on June 2 with a 9-4 victory over Hartford after dropping a 9-2 decision against Oklahoma State on June 1… Prior to regionals, junior third baseman David Villar was named a Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Third Team All-American. Need to Know: USF made its 13th NCAA tournament appearance and its second straight trip as a No. 2 seed. Six Bulls garnered all-conference selections and the team was ranked in the top 25 of at least one national poll for the final eight weeks of the season.

Softball
Need to Know: Head coach Ken Eriksen will host several camps this summer for local athletes to train with USF's staff. The Junior Bulls Camp for children 8-11 is scheduled for June 18-20. The camp will run from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The cost is $240 per attendee… Prospect camps are set for June 25-27. Camp options available include: infield, outfield, hitting, simulated college batting practice and a pitching and catching camp. Camps range from $75-$140 and are available for students ages 12-18. Track and Field
Last Week: USF bolstered its roster in a big way for next season with a new nine-member signing class that features a two-time NJCAA champion and five state title winners, including Florida's new high school record-holder in the pole vault. Learn more HERE.

Last Week: USF Athletics announced the creation of the Michael J. Radomski Memorial Scholarship fund, established through the USF Bulls Club to honor the memory of the beloved member of the USF family who passed away tragically in a car accident last October. Learn more HERE.

About USF Athletics
USF Athletics sponsors 19 varsity men's and women's teams that compete in 11 different sports, 18 at the NCAA Division I level in the American Athletic Conference. The Bulls' athletic program celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015, having begun with a men's soccer contest in 1965. Nearly 500 student-athletes train and compete in the athletic district located on the east end of the campus in Tampa, Fla. The Bulls have claimed 15 American Athletic Conference team titles since joining the conference in 2013, including four in 2016-17, and own 112 conference championships overall. Ten USF programs reached national postseason competition in the 2016-17 season and nine were ranked in the Top 25 nationally. The Bulls posted a program-record 86 percent Graduation Success Rate in 2016, logged an annual department grade-point average over a 3.0 for the six straight semesters, and saw 106 student-athletes earn their degree during the 2016-17 academic period.
