TAMPA, Fla., November 2, 2023 – University of South Florida sophomore goalkeeper
Alan Horrocks has earned American Athletic Conference (AAC) Goalkeeper of the Week honors and graduate striker
Jalen Anderson has been selected to honor roll, announced by the league office on Thursday.
Â
Horrocks earned the weekly accolade after South Florida's 2-0 shutout win against FAU on Wednesday night. The shutout was Horrock's second of his career (and season). The backline played a large roll in deflecting the Owl's shots, as he only faced one from FAU.
Â
Anderson's lone goal of the night was scored on the penalty kick in the 81
st minute of action, which further secured the Bull's victory and extended the season. The strikers' seventh goal of the campaign (19
th career) slotted him a space on the conference's honor roll.
