TAMPA, Fla. –January 25, 2025- The University of South Florida women's golf team is on the road to compete in the UCF PDI Intercollegiate starting this Sunday, January 25. The Bulls will be joined by 16 other teams at the Eagle Creek GC in Orlando, Florida.
Tiphani Knight, Cherry Marley, Matylda Krawczynska, Emma Kim, and Holly McLean will represent the Bulls.
South Florida will compete against Baylor, Central Florida (UCF), Auburn, Mississippi State, Kent State, UNC Charlotte, Penn State, South Alabama, Florida Gulf Coast, East Carolina, Abilene Christian, Nebraska, North Florida Northern Illinois, and Old Dominion. The Bulls will start teeing off at 10:09am on hole 1.
The tournament will be played at the Eagle Creek Golf Course. The course is a Par 72 – 6,392 with 18 holes on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Tampa native AJ Newell, a former LPGA Tour Player and NCAA All-American, enters her second season as head coach of USF women's golf. In her first season, she coached Leonor Medeiros to the American All-Conference Team. Newell coached the Bulls to four top-10 finishes in the 2024-25 season.
Newell took over leadership of the Bulls' program following a successful three-year stint as assistant coach at the University of Michigan, where she helped guide the Wolverines to three straight NCAA Regional appearances, a 2022 Big Ten title, and a trip to the 2022 NCAA Championship Finals.
