TAMPA, Fla. (Feb. 25, 2007) National Player of the Year and All-America candidate senior Jessica Dickson (Ocala, FL) scored 17 points to break the University of South Florida's all-time scoring record in the Bulls' 60-51 victory over Seton Hall Monday night in Tampa.

Dickson hit a free throw with 27 seconds remaining in the game to score her 2,321st-career point, breaking Charlie Bradley's all-time scoring record of 2,319 career points, becoming USF's all-time leading scorer, male or female.

The Bulls broke a three-game losing streak Monday night to extend their season record to 19-10 overall and 9-7 in the BIG EAST Conference.

After trailing by five early in the game, senior Nalini Miller (Capital Heights, MD) hit a jumper to put the Bulls ahead for the next six minutes.

The Pirates hit back-to-back buckets to go ahead by two, but Dickson hit her first basket of the game with four minutes remaining, to spark USF to a five-point halftime lead.

Two minutes into the second half, the Pirates knotted the game at 29, but USF exploded on a 12-4 run to dominate the pace of the game.

Dickson scored 11 points in the final seven minutes of the game to ignite the USF win and earn herself yet another a spot in the record books.

Dickson ended the game with 17 points, hitting 11-14 from the stripe, and 10 rebounds.

Miller tallied 15 points, five rebounds, four blocked shots and two steals. Junior forward ChiChi Okpaleke (Tampa, FL) scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds to go along with her two blocked shots.

Sophomore guard Shantia Grace (Sarasota, FL) and senior guard Tristen Webb (Stone Mountain, GA) each registered five assists in the final regular season game of the year.
