TAMPA, Fla.  ? The University of South Florida women's basketball team continued to display its offensive fire power early on this season hitting the century mark for the second time in three games this year in a dominating 103-55 win over in-state foe Stetson tonight at the Sun Dome. The Bulls improve its record to 3-0, to start the season, for the third time in the past four years.

USF placed three players in double figures led by Jazmine Sepulveda's game-high 24 points ? two shy of her career-high. Shantia Grace finally got back on track on the offensive end of the floor netting 19 points while Brittany Denson added 12 points in the win.

Once again, USF had a balanced attack in all aspects of the game. For the third straight contest the Bulls placed 10 of the 11 players that saw action in the scoring column, with eight of the 10 netting eight or more points. USF also dominated the glass outrebounding Stetson 58-33 while nine of the 10 players that saw time grabbing multiple rebounds. Jessica Lawson paced the way with nine.

The Hatters hung tough and didn't back down from the Bulls trailing by just five points, 20-15, with 10:25 left in the first half, on a jumper by Ashli Jackson.

USF, however, would use a 34-18 run to close out the final 10 minutes of the half and take a commanding 54-33 lead into the locker room at the intermission.

As hot as the Bulls were in the first half, they came out even better in the second. USF shot 48.7 percent (19-39).

The Bulls came out in the second stanza on a 15-6 run to take it's first 30-point lead of the contest and would never look back extending the edge to as many as 48-points before the final buzzer.

USF held Stetson to just 37.1 percent (23-62) shooting from the field on the night and forced it into 26 turnovers its loss.

After playing three games in four days, the Bulls will get a much needed rest until Coppin State visits the Sun Dome on Sunday at 2 p.m. The contest will mark the fourth and final game of a four-game season opening home stand for USF.

USF Postgame Notes
- USF's 100-point output marks just the third time in the program's history that it has hit the century mark more than once in a season ... This year they scored 100 points against Central Connecticut in a 100-41 season-opening win ... The Bulls also accomplished the feat during the 1983-84 season (101-76 win against Stetson; 102-96 win over Alabama State) and the 2001-02 campaign (101-47 win over Savannah State; 124-54 win over Morris Brown).

- USF's 35 three-pointers attempted was a season high and equalled the fifth most in a game in school history.

- The 10 trey's made is also tied for the ninth most in a single game.

- USF improves its record to 11-0 all-time when scoring 100 points.

- In addition to Jazmine Sepulveda falling just two points shy of her career high, Brittany Denson also fell just short of a career high for blocked shots rejecting four ... Her career best is five two times, with the last coming last year against Cincinnati on Feb. 19, 2008).

- Through it's first three games of the year, the Bulls' margin of victory has been 51.7 points per game ... They are also just one-point shy of averaging 100 points per game on the year.
