TAMPA - The University of South Florida men's and women's track and field teams posted 25 BIG EAST qualifiers and placed 32 athletes in the top five at the 2013 Bulls Invitational held on Friday at the USF Track and Field Complex.
"I thought our team had a very solid performance today against some high level competition," said head coach Warren Bye. "At this point in the season, we want to see continued growth and with the team having the week off due to spring break, I thought they produced some good performances today, especially in the short sprints."
The Bulls had five individual event winners on the day, four of which came from the field events.
